About
Our Mission
Professional Ship Simulator Wiki is written by players who spend their time on the bridge rather than in the menus. Our goal is to explain the simulation clearly: what each ship class will and will not tolerate, how a mission actually plays out from mooring line to mooring line, and which bridge system you need at which moment.
Because the sim is in Early Access, details change between builds. We re-check ship behaviour, mission payouts and system behaviour as patches land, and we mark anything that is uncertain or developer-stated rather than confirmed in game. Where the official store page and the official feature list disagree, we say so instead of picking a number.
About the Sim
Professional Ship Simulator is a maritime simulation from the German studio SWE Systems, published by Aerosoft. It entered Steam Early Access on 16 September 2026 after a public demo that drew more than forty thousand players. Under its earlier name, Nautic XP, the project moved away from arcade ship handling and toward a stricter simulation of the forces that make berthing difficult in real life.
